• 28 years in the brewing and beverage industry
• 5 years Director Brewing Operations: Stone Brewing & BrewDog Berlin - 2015 to 2019
• Doctorate in engineering granted in December 2015   
• 8 years project engineer, consultant and lecturer at the Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei in Berlin - until 2014  
• Studied brewing at the TU Berlin with a degree in engineering - 2001 to 2006
• About 10 years on the road as a master brewer (Saxer Brewing, OR, USA; Wettringer Brauhaus; Weißbräu, Cologne; Magister Cerveceria, Spain; Queenshead Brewpub, South Korea; Cerveceria Polar, Venezuela) 1996 - 2006
• 1991 start of his career with an apprenticeship to become brewer and maltster at Pott`s brewery in Oelde, Westphalia - until 1996
